Beginner Knitting Class is on the second (2nd) Saturday of EVERY month. Class fee is $20. Supplies are available for purchase or bring your own.
April 9 - Cast on Party for Saskie KAL. Join us on April 9th from 5pm to 7pm to cast on this adorable stranded colorwork sweater (featuring adorable bunnies & crescent moons) together. This is the perfect project to celebrate the Easter season and bring comfort on those chilly early spring evenings. This paid for pattern can be found on Ravelry (https://ravel.me/saskie ).
April 18 & May 2 -Round & Round Tunisian Crochet Class with Cecilia Mencias. This is a slightly advanced class, where students will be learning how to do Tunisian Crochet in the round. Students will be making a hat, learning how to do decreases and work in the round. Cecilia makes every class fun (& a bit silly) and can help you navigate any tricky techniques you encounter. This class starts at 1pm and ends at 3pm. Class fee is $40. Tunisian crochet hooks are available for purchase or you can bring one from home.
April 19- Spindle Spinning w/ Nelly. Have you ever wanted to learn a truly old fashioned way to make your own yarn? Our favorite spinning teacher, Nelly is back and she will be teaching students how to use drop spindles. Spindles and fiber is included in the class fee. Just bring yourself and a ‘can do’ attitude. Class starts at 1pm and ends at 2:30pm. As this is on a Sunday, pre-registration is required and can easily be done by email, phone call during shop hours or in person. Class fee: $45
Ongoing knitting/crochet support and help with projects are always available every Wed-Saturday.
Open craft night is every Thursday 5pm to 7pm. Bring a project and have a chat!
