Beginner Knitting Class is on the second (2nd) Saturday of EVERY month. Class fee is $20. Supplies are available for purchase or bring your own.
July 11 - Beginner Tunisian Crochet with Cecilia Mencias. This popular class is back! Have you ever wondered why some crochet hooks are REALLY long? This is the class for you. Cecilia teaches Tunisian Crochet with lots of laughter, love and knowledge. No experience needed. Class fee is $30.
July 18 - Left Handed Knitting. Learning to knit shouldn’t have the added pressure of mentally adapting to a method that feels backwards. Learn left handed techniques that let your hands do what comes naturally. Class fee is $30. Class is from 11:30am to 1pm.
July 24 - Aug 2 Heartland Yarn Adventure is back! We are a participating shop for a second year in this massive, multi-state yarn crawl. Stop by to browse uncommon yarns, meet local artists and experience the cozy, creative space where every skein has a story and opinion. Interested in taking part in the yarn crawl? HYA Passports are available for purchase.
July 25 - Cat and Rabbit Trunk Show! As a special guest during the HYA yarn crawl, the boys from Cat and Rabbit Fiber Arts will be in the shop with their beautiful Jacob sheep wool yarns and a wide variety of needle felting supplies. New to needle felting? Josh, from Cat and Rabbit Fiber Arts, is the best person to lead you on that new adventure.
Aug. 1 - Attempted Murder Yarn Co Trunk Show! Round out the Heartland Yarn Adventure with Emily from Attempted Murder Yarn Co. Emily will be bringing her stunning, hand-dyed yarns from the wilds of Ft. Wayne for a special trunk show.
Ongoing knitting/crochet support and help with projects are always available every Wed-Saturday.
Open craft night is every Thursday 5pm to 7pm. Bring a project, pull up a chair and enjoy some cozy conversation.
